Sustainability Management
Corporate social responsibility is a vehicle for all types of organizations to contribute to Sustainable Development. All CSR activities must have one ultimate goal, namely to achieve Sustainability. Doing effective CSR means doing SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-Bound) based on ISO 26000. CSR is a strategic investment that will provide benefits to the organization, in the form of a social license to operate, enhance the reputation of the organization, reduce business disruption , and a higher share price.
Through our curriculum at Trisakti University’s MM-Sustainability, students will gain all the knowledge and skills needed to meet these needs. Our organization aims to contribute to sustainable development through providing “Trial and Improve” Curriculum by providing real case studies, “Sustainability Tree” Games, Field Trips, Regular Seminars, and CSR Clinics.
CSR CAN CONTRIBUTE TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT BY SUPPORTING COMMUNITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Community Entrepreneurship is a branch of knowledge that originates from Social Entrepreneurship. For us, a social enterprise is a company that turns social problems into business opportunities. Community enterprise is a social enterprise owned by the community. It is very important to promote local community ownership which allows communities to become owners of their own business while solving social problems. Community entrepreneurship will increase the dignity of the community as well as a sense of ownership of the business and have an impact on business activities that have a sustainable impact.
