Logistic and Supply Chain Management
Concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management This provision provides students with an understanding of project management and supply chain operations by identifying theories, ideas, innovations and critically evaluating processes and networks. Students are expected to be able to critically analyze project management and supply chain activities in an institution or company. Through this concentration students can:
- Mastering knowledge of management, general managerial and environmental management and supply chain, as well as interpersonal and intrapersonal skills in developing projects oriented towards technopreneurship and sustainability
- Identify, analyze and make decisions that are effective and efficient in every activity and dynamics of project management and supply chain
- Planning and assessing the feasibility of a project and supply chain in an integrated manner from various aspects
- Apply and dynamically integrate knowledge, skills, methods and techniques in accordance with management and supply chain requirements to manage development and project development and business operations in achieving stakeholder satisfaction
COMPULSORY CONCENTRATION COURSES:
OPERATIONAL & SUPPLY CHAIN RESEARCH / OPERATION & SUPPLY CHAIN RESEARCH (3 SKS)
This course aims to prepare students to write a thesis at Masters level in the field of production by training them to be able to conduct or evaluate research, especially in the field of production by identifying various activities in the field of production. The theoretical component of this course is to introduce the philosophy of quantitative and qualitative research and provide a broad understanding of data processing methods, how to interpret the results of data processing to techniques for compiling research reports in production. The practical component is developing skills in reading and writing research and critical thinking, problem definition, data collection and data analysis.
STRATEGIC OPERATION MANAGEMENT (3 SKS)
This course will explore optimally related to operations management strategies; analyze process technology; analyze the application of layout and location in operations management; analyze quality management; analyze resource planning; analyze inventory management; analyze the production system on time; analyze project completion; analyzing supply chain management.
SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (3 SKS)
This Supply Chain and Logistic Management course covers the development and foundations of logistics disciplines in the supply chain structure, presents a future vision of the logistics business, and SCM and its role in competition between companies and industries.
IMPROVING QUALITY AND SIX SIGMA (3 SKS)
This course aims to provide an understanding of the need to operate an integrated system in a manufacturing organization or service organization in an efficient and productive manner in order to improve the quality of the products and processes produced. Six sigma is one of the improvement methods to improve product quality by reducing product defects that occur. This method aims to reduce the level of variation and defects in the process, so that better quality can be produced with five steps, namely Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC).
SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGEMENT (3 SKS)
Performance Management Course is a course that equips students with knowledge by prioritizing mastery of the main topics, namely, Basic Principles of Performance Management and Performance characteristics; Performance Management Process and Cycle; Performance Management Implementation Effectiveness; Performance Planning and Development Process; Performance Assessment and Improvement; Performance Management Evaluation; Performance Management Role.
