Ethics & Sanctions
Ethics and Sanctions In order to maintain order in the process of administering education, as well as guarantee the quality of educational outcomes, it is necessary to stipulate sanctions for violations of the provisions that must be met by students.
Actions that can be categorized as academic violations include the following:
- Students who do not complete the Study Plan Card (KRS) until the specified time period are not allowed to participate in all academic activities.
- Students who do not pay off the payment of the current semester’s tuition fee by the deadline before the Mid Semester Examination will not be able to take part in the lecture process until the end of the current semester.
- Replacing, falsifying grades, Student Identity Cards and committing fraud in examinations, publications, assignments and reports in the context of lectures.
- Students who are proven to have committed plagiarism of scientific work (in accordance with applicable laws and regulations) are given the most severe sanctions up to dropping out of studies.
- For graduates who are proven to have committed plagiarism of scientific work (in accordance with applicable laws and regulations) they will be given the sanction of having their academic degree revoked.
- Hacking a university’s or study program’s information system to damage or change personal data records and exam results will be subject to sanctions according to the rules that apply at the university level.
- Forging the signature of a lecturer/assistant lecturer or study program official within the scope of academic and non-academic activities will be subject to sanctions according to the rules that apply at the University level.
- Using writings, research results and other people’s work without permission and or recognizing them as or own work in an academic activity will be subject to sanctions according to the rules that apply at the university level.
- Influencing, cajoling, giving gifts or intimidating verbally or physically with the intention of influencing the results of academic assessments.
- Misusing the name and logo of the university/study program for things that can harm/damage the good name will be subject to sanctions according to the rules that apply at the university level.
- Doing things that are contrary to the norms of decency in the life of the academic community.
- Students are proven to have committed criminal/civil acts
PENALTY
Sanctions are corrective actions aimed at educating and providing a conscious effect that is decided by the study program manager or a special committee appointed by the FEB Master of Management program manager for violations committed by students. Sanctions for violations mentioned above can be in the form of:
- Warnings can be given verbally or in writing by the Dean of FEB, the Chair of the Study Program or the appointed Committee.
- Reduction of test scores in courses.
- Will not get Exam Participant Card (KPU).
- Declared did not pass the course exam or academic activities.
- Suspension (revoked rights/permit to take part in academic activities temporarily).
- Obliged to replace all damages and or losses in the form of goods or reputation incurred as a result of the actions concerned.
- Other corrective actions according to regulations that apply at the Study Program and university level.
TERMINATION
OF STUDENT STATUS
Termination of Student Status or Drop Out is the process of revoking student status for students, due to certain matters that have been determined by FEB Trisakti
University. Termination of Student Status is due to several conditions as
follows:
- Providing incorrect information and falsifying diplomas or academic transcripts of S1 at the time of registration, which will only be discovered at a later date.
- Do not re-register for 3 (three) consecutive semesters and/or do not complete the Study Plan Card (KRS) without academic leave.
- The academic requirements are not fulfilled because the student concerned for several consecutive semesters gets a grade or GPA less than the standard set by the MM FEB Study Program.
- Unable to meet the maximum limit of study period set by the MM FEB Study Program. The study load for the Master of Management is 45 credits which must be taken over 4 (four) semesters, with a maximum study period of 8 (eight) semesters.
- Resigned from Trisakti University MM FEB Study Program.
- Students commit criminal / civil and criminal acts based on court decisions that have permanent legal force.
- Carry out, use and distribute drugs that are categorized as drug abuse/addictive substances, psychotropics, narcotics, cannabis and alcohol.
- Committing violations that damage the good name of the University and FEB as well as the Trisakti University Master of Management Study Program.
- Permanently disabled or deceased.
