Trisakti University’s Master of Management Study Program has the opportunity to join the Master of Sustainable Development and Management (MASUDEM) consortium
The Master of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University (MM FEB TRISAKTI) is again involved in the capacity building consortium in Higher Education in the context of Erasmus. Trisakti University’s Master of Management Study Program has the opportunity to join the Master of Sustainable Development and Management (MASUDEM) consortium. This consortium aims to increase the capacity of the Master of Management Program, especially in responding to issues of sustainability and the green economy. The kick-off of the three-year project will take place from 15 to 17 February 2023 at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia and Mendel University, Brno, Czech Republic. The Master of Management Study Program delegation was led by the Chancellor of Trisakti University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, Deputy Chancellor II Mrs. Dr. Khomsiyah, Ak, CA, FCMA, CGMA, CRIB and the Deans of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University
The MASUDEM project aims to develop the program curriculum and develop the capacity of teaching staff on sustainable development issues. More than that, this activity also prioritizes internationalization strategies through sustainable collaboration between consortium members. There are six universities in ASEAN involved in the consortium, three from Indonesia, namely Gadjah Mada University, Islamic University of Indonesia, and Trisakti University, as well as three universities from Thailand, namely International College of NIDA, Srinakharinwirot University, and Naresuan University. Meanwhile, European partners involved include the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, Mendel University Brno Czech Republic, Pablo de Olavide University Seville, Spain, and Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary.
This activity is very relevant to MM FEB USAKTI’s mission to create future leaders in the economic and business fields who care about sustainable development issues. This initiative is also in line with the global spirit and sustainable development planned by the United Nations (UN). In this consortium, Trisakti University will be the coordinator to conduct a mapping study regarding the current status of curriculum implementation.
