Seminar Palm Oil Sector Issues, Market Transformation and Strategies To Overcome Deforestation

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University, majoring in Master of Management held a seminar entitled “Palm Oil Sector Issues, Market Transformation and Strategies To Overcome Deforestation” which was held on Thursday, October 6, 2023 online.

The event was attended by the Head of MM FEB Usakti Study Program Prof. Farah Margaretha, ME, Ph.D Lecturers, Practitioners and MM FEB Usakti Students.

In her remarks Prof. Farah Margaretha, ME, Ph.D said Indonesia is one of the largest palm oil producers in the world, where the European Union which is the 4th largest export destination from Indonesia 11% of its total palm oil exports and Indonesia is required to be able to maintain its forest degradation.

This seminar was filled by M. Windrawan Inantha as Deputy Director, for Market Transformation for Indonesia The Roundtable on Sustainnable Palm Oil (RSPO) who explained about Transforming Markets To Make Sunstainable Palm Oil The Norm, and Dr. Eleonora Sofilda, M.Si as Moderator, and Permanent Lecturer of FEB Trisakti University.

Hopefully this seminar can overcome the problems of the Palm Oil Sector, Market Transformation and Strategies to Overcome Deforestation in Indonesia.
