The construction of a reading house is a CSR program of the Master of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University in MM Bootcamp activities in 2024 which is supported by various companies, one of which is PT Angkasa Pura II which was carried out on August 18, 2024 located at the Al Furqoniyah Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Bogor, West Java with a total of 523 students.

The role of the Dean of MM FEB Trisakti provides a role in the construction of the Reading House with the signing of the inscription by Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CIRR, CMA, CPM (Asia).

The objectives of the reading house construction include:

1. The reading house aims to facilitate the students to be more interested and accustomed to reading. By providing access to various types of books, it is expected that their interest in reading will increase, developing insight and knowledge: The reading house becomes a source of information that is rich in knowledge, both in the fields of religion, science, history, literature, and others.
2. Encouraging Independent Learning: With the reading house, students are encouraged to learn independently. They can explore the material they are interested in and learn it according to their own pace and learning style.
3. Instilling Literacy Habits: The reading house aims to instill sustainable reading habits, making reading part of the daily routine of the students.
4. Supporting Academic and Spiritual Activities: In addition to supporting academic learning, the reading house also provides materials that can deepen students’ understanding of religious teachings, ethics, and spiritual values.
5. Shaping Character and Critical Thinking: Through access to various literatures, santri are expected to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and form a more mature and knowledgeable character.

With the reading house, the pesantren seeks to create a generation of students who are not only strong in religious knowledge, but also broad-minded and ready to face the challenges of the times with comprehensive knowledge.
