Project based learning (PBL) Sydney Australia

Project-based learning (PBL) is one of the learning methods that emphasizes the process of solving real problems through projects undertaken by students. Students of the Master of Management study program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University had the opportunity to take part in PBL in Sydney Australia on January 21 to 27, 2024.

The PBL activities of students and lecturers conducted Learning and Training, Workshops, and Company Visit in Sydney – Australia. Visits to several universities including Macquarie University & University of New South Wales. while the company is Eastern Subur Beach Tour, Trip to Livingstone Office, while for Company Visit is Eastern Cross Trading Company. then students and lecturers visited the Indonesia Business Council (IBC) Australia and the representative office of the Indonesian government in Australia to hold discussions about opportunities and challenges in business in Australia. Present at the discussion were representatives from the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), Indonesian Investment Promotion Center (IIPC), and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Sydney – Australia.

Students are given the task to design a project that is trained directly by Mrs. Molita, students work on Business projects with different designs. Each group will do research in advance about companies in Australia in the nearest time. After that, students will design according to these needs and expectations. They must also consider aspects such as ease of use, data security, and compatibility with applicable regulations.

This project-based learning (PBL) activity is a good opportunity for students to apply the knowledge they have learned in class to a real situation. They can hone their problem solving skills, creativity, and teamwork through the project. This project-based learning (PBL) activity is one of the real examples of how learning in the master of management study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University.
