The presence of foreign lecturers in Indonesia can transform teaching and learning standards, improve academic quality, and spur the development of research and innovation, while simultaneously improving the university’s international ranking. The standards of learning activities at domestic universities will be comparable to those at international universities, such as scientific honesty and methodology. This improvement in academic quality can be a model for developing higher education institutions and transferring knowledge. Positively, foreign lecturers can stimulate improvements in the quality of teaching and learning activities on campus. Indonesian universities can achieve international standards, especially in the areas of research and scientific publications.
