Introducing Indonesian Culture to MASUDEM Participants from various Asian and European countries

Lecturers and Students of Master of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University introduced Indonesian culture in front of MASUDEM (Master Studies Sustainability Development Management) participants representing countries that are members of the MASUDEM Project through the introduction of traditional houses and typical dances in Indonesia. The event was held on July 26, 2024, at Taman Mini Indah Indonesia (TMII), attended by around 25 representatives from various countries.

The event was opened directly by the Vice Dean IV of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University for International Cooperation Prof. Dr. Asep Hermawan, MSc.

The show lasted for approximately 4 hours, where the performance was divided into two sessions, namely: (1) Introduction of Indonesian Houses and (2) Introduction of Indonesian Balinese dances. This activity is part of a joint consortium between universities in Europe spearheaded by Professor Aneta Caplanova from the University of Economics in Bratislava. Overall the members are: Master of Management Study Program FEB USAKTI, UGM and UII as well as three other institutions from Thailand, namely: Srinakharinwirot University, Naresuan University and ICONIDA. From Europe, the institutions involved are University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA), Mendel University (MENDELU), Brno-Czech Republic, ELTE University, Budapest-Hungary; University Pablo de Olavide (UPO) Seville, Spain.

Hopefully with this activity to introduce Indonesian culture in the eyes of the world so that it is expected to attract foreign tourists to Indonesia which in turn will increase foreign exchange.
